Can you match my existing trim profile?
Usually yes. Most residential trim profiles are still available from lumberyards and millwork suppliers. For older or custom profiles that aren't in stock, we can have them milled or use the closest available profile and build up the detail with caulk and finish work. We'll show you the match before we commit.
Do you paint the trim after installing it?
Yes, that's included when the job calls for it. We caulk seams, fill nail holes, sand, prime, and paint so the new trim is paint-ready and finished — not just tacked up and left for someone else.
Can you replace just one piece of baseboard or door casing?
Yes. We don't require you to do an entire room if you only need one damaged section replaced. We source matching material and blend it into what's already there.
What wood types do you work with?
Pine (the most common residential choice), MDF, poplar, and oak. Material selection depends on the application — painted trim vs. stained, high-traffic areas vs. decorative. We'll recommend the right material for the job.
How long does trim installation take?
A single room of baseboard or door casing typically takes half a day to a full day including caulk and paint. Crown molding takes longer due to coping and compound angles. Multi-room jobs are scheduled by scope.
Do you do built-in repairs and cabinet work?
Yes, within reason. We repair damaged built-ins, bookshelves, and cabinets — filling, refinishing, replacing damaged sections. Full custom built-in construction is outside our scope, but repair and restoration work is something we do regularly.
