Interior Painting in Frederick, Hagerstown & Central MD

Good painting is what ties a repair together. Color-matched, properly prepped, and finished clean.

The Step That Ties a Repair Together

The right prep, the right primer, and a close color match are what make a patch blend into the wall around it. We take the prep seriously so the finish coat goes on evenly.

We handle color matching to existing walls, full room repaints, post-repair touch-ups, and whole-home painting jobs. Trim, ceilings, baseboards, and door casings are all in scope.

We serve homeowners across Frederick County, Washington County, and south-central Pennsylvania — including Frederick, Hagerstown, Thurmont, Gettysburg, and Hanover.

Our Process for Every Paint Job

01

Prep

Fill holes, sand rough spots, wipe surfaces clean, tape edges, and protect floors and furniture. Prep is most of the job.

02

Prime

Prime bare patches or newly repaired drywall so the finish coat goes on evenly without flashing or showing repairs.

03

Paint

Cut in edges cleanly, then roll. Two coats standard. No lap marks, no holidays, no visible brush strokes on rolled surfaces.

04

Clean up

Remove tape, replace switch plates, move furniture back, and leave the space clean. You shouldn't have to clean up after us.

Common Questions About Interior Painting

Can you match paint that's already on my walls?

Yes. We use spectrophotometer color matching at the paint store to get as close as possible to existing colors. On aged paint that has shifted over time, we'll do test patches first to confirm the match before painting.

Do you move furniture before painting?

We move standard furniture away from walls and protect floors and remaining furniture with drop cloths. Very heavy or fragile pieces are the homeowner's responsibility to move ahead of time, and we'll tell you what to prep before we arrive.

How long does a room take to paint?

A single room typically takes one day including prep, cut-in, and rolling two coats. Large rooms, rooms with significant prep work, or projects with multiple rooms will take longer. We give a realistic schedule upfront.

What type of paint do you use?

We use professional-grade interior latex — typically Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore depending on the application. We don't cut corners on paint quality because cheap paint fails faster and doesn't cover as well.

Can you do just touch-up painting after a drywall repair?

Yes, and we often do this as part of a drywall repair job. Touch-up painting is straightforward when the repair area is small and the existing paint color can be closely matched.

Do you paint trim and ceilings too?

Yes. We paint walls, ceilings, baseboards, door casings, window trim, and crown molding. If you want everything done in one job, we can scope it that way.
